For Reach, that momentum is real. From customer wins in complex service and subscription-based businesses to new partnerships and product innovations, Directions NA 2025 affirmed what we already knew: Business Central is built for where the market is going, and Reach is ready to lead.

Singhammer & Reach: A New Standard for Subscription Management in Business Central

One of the standout stories from this year’s conference was the formal rollout of Singhammer’s subscription and contract management solution into the generally available version of Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Previously a specialized ISV solution, this functionality is now licensed by Microsoft and was adopted as part of the standard product offering. Reach is proud to be a go-to services partner for organizations looking to implement, optimize, and scale this new capability.

Our role doesn’t stop at deployment – we back it up with deep expertise in:

  • Subscription lifecycle management
  • Revenue recognition compliance (ASC 606 / IFRS 15)
  • Multi-entity and project-based service models

Reach enables customers to confidently shift toward future-proof, recurring revenue business models. Whether you’re running a professional services firm, SaaS company, or diversified services business, we help you unlock the full potential of Business Central’s native capabilities with scalable configurations and AI-powered insight built in.

Business Central Moves Further into the Upper Mid-Market

Microsoft’s strategy is clear: Business Central isn’t just for small businesses anymore.

This year’s announcements reinforced Microsoft’s commitment to serving larger, more complex organizations through investments that include:

  • New AI agents: The Sales Order Agent (public preview) and Payables Agent (private preview) are already reducing manual effort and accelerating workflows with full Copilot Studio extensibility coming soon.

  • Support for large deals and complex compliance: Microsoft is providing up to $100M in funding for high-potential opportunities, as well as dual revenue recognition capabilities for companies navigating multi-GAAP and multi-entity reporting requirements.
  • Talent investment: The BC Talent Program has resulted in 600 new hires, 41% of whom are women, and is creating real capacity across the partner channel.

For Reach, these moves validate the work we’re already doing. Our recent wins with multi-subsidiary, multi-currency, and service-driven organizations confirm that Business Central is ready for growth-stage companies, and so are we.

AI-Powered Business Applications: More Than a Buzzword

AI was everywhere at Directions NA 2025, but not just as a vision. It’s live, embedded, and delivering value in:

  • Forecasting and cash flow management
  • Quote-to-cash acceleration
  • Customer engagement personalization
  • Proactive service delivery

And what’s coming next is even more exciting: Copilot Studio will enable partners and customers to design custom AI agents that align to their industry, roles, and business models.

Three Copilot AI Features that Help You Manage Projects Better in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations https://reachinternational.ai/three-copilot-ai-features-that-help-you-manage-projects-better-in-microsoft-dynamics-365-project-operations/ Tue, 15 Apr 2025 09:52:34 +0000 https://reach-bhdka8gvgmc3argv.eastus2-01.azurewebsites.net/?p=5331 Managing multiple projects simultaneously can be overwhelming, with shifting deadlines, resource constraints, and unforeseen risks. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations now features Copilot AI, a powerful toolset designed to simplify project management, streamline workflows, and drive efficiency. Let’s explore three key Copilot AI features that can help you manage projects more effectively.

Task plan generation

With Copilot AI, project managers can generate realistic task plans effortlessly. By analyzing the project name and description, Copilot suggests relevant tasks along with estimated durations and efforts. Copilot analyzes your project name and description to suggest relevant tasks with estimated durations and effort levels, saving you time in the planning phase.” This feature reduces time and effort required for project initiation and fast-tracks implementation.

To use this feature, simply provide a project name and select “Task Plan” from the Copilot menu item in the toolbar. For better results fill out a detailed description and estimated start and finish date for the project. “For optimal results, provide a detailed project description along with estimated start and finish dates.” Within seconds, you’ll have a complete task plan with start and finish dates and durations. Remember to review the created tasks and adjust them as needed.

Risk Assessment

Managing project risks is crucial for ensuring successful outcomes. Copilot AI takes risk management to the next level by providing AI-driven risk assessments. It identifies potential risks early in the project lifecycle and suggests mitigation strategies. By analyzing the project’s scope, schedule, and budget, Copilot detects risks early and recommends mitigation strategies, helping you prevent costly delays.” This proactive approach helps project managers navigate uncertainties and maintain project stability. The Copilot powered Risk Assessment uses the project’s metadata, such as the project’s scope, schedule, and budget, to assess risks and alert stakeholders about factors that might hinder project progress.

It is important to note that actuals, such as time, expense, or materials, need to be logged to generate Risk assessment and Status reports through Copilot.

Project Status Report

Keeping stakeholders informed about project progress is a project manager’s most important job. “Clear and timely communication with stakeholders is essential for project success.” Copilot AI greatly aids in this process by generating concise and comprehensive status reports. These reports integrate scheduling and financial data, offering a clear overview of project performance. With this feature, project managers can communicate effectively and make data-driven decisions to keep projects on track.

You can create two types of status reports: internal and external. Both internal and external status reports will clearly indicate that the report was created with AI. Additionally, the internal status report will have a confidential marker at the top.

The internal report contains budget value and budget tracking, together with a task breakdown. The internal report includes budget values, tracking metrics, and a detailed task breakdown, ensuring a comprehensive view of project finances.” The external report provides insights into overall tasks metrics without any financial data. The generated document can be edited by the project manager and then downloaded, printed, or even assigned to a user.

Internal Report

External Report

The generated reports can be found under the Summary tab of the Project in the AI Assisted Reports section, or you can go to the Project reports menu point in the left hand side menu and find the report you are looking for here.

By leveraging these innovative Copilot AI features, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations empowers project managers to achieve excellence in every project. Embrace the future of project management with intelligent tools that drive efficiency and success.

Choosing the Right Partner for Dynamics 365 Implementation in Long-Term Care: The Critical Step in Digital Transformation https://reachinternational.ai/choosing-the-right-partner-for-dynamics-365-implementation-in-long-term-care-the-critical-step-in-digital-transformation/ Wed, 18 Dec 2024 20:31:49 +0000 https://reach-bhdka8gvgmc3argv.eastus2-01.azurewebsites.net/?p=4487 Long-term care (LTC) organizations operate in a challenging environment that demands regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and quality care delivery. Microsoft Dynamics 365 offers a transformative solution to meet these needs, but its success hinges on the expertise of the implementation partner. Selecting the right partner ensures Dynamics 365 becomes a strategic asset rather than a source of frustration.

A successful implementation begins with an experienced partner who can deliver custom-tailored Dynamics 365 to meet these exact requirements rather than offering a one-size-fits-all solution.

This blog is part of our Long-Term Care Industry Blog Series, designed to guide organizations through the digital transformation process. Here, we’ll explore how to choose the ideal Dynamics 365 implementation partner tailored to the unique needs of LTC providers.

Understanding Your Organization’s Needs

Every LTC organization is unique, with priorities ranging from centralizing resident data to managing complex billing and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. A successful implementation begins with identifying these specific needs.

The right partner will take a custom approach, tailoring Dynamics 365 to meet your requirements rather than offering a one-size-fits-all solution. Whether it’s streamlining electronic health records (EHR) integration, optimizing workforce management, or enhancing financial visibility, a partner who understands your sector is essential.

The Importance of Industry Expertise

Healthcare and long-term care operate within strict regulatory frameworks that differ significantly from other industries. The right implementation partner will have proven experience in healthcare or LTC, ensuring they:

  • Understand nuances such as HIPAA compliance, Medicaid and Medicare reporting, and healthcare-specific workflows.
  • Seamlessly integrate Dynamics 365 with existing systems, such as EHR platforms, to create a unified data ecosystem.
  • Offer insights into managing industry challenges, including patient billing complexities and staff scheduling.

When evaluating potential partners, look for case studies or client testimonials that demonstrate their expertise in the LTC sector.

Tailoring Dynamics 365 for Long-Term Care

A strong implementation partner doesn’t just deploy the software—they ensure it is configured to align with your organization’s processes, workflows, reporting needs, and care delivery strategies. Key considerations include:

  • Configuration for Unique Processes and Workflows: Adapting Dynamics 365 to match your processes, such as resident care tracking, compliance audits, and billing.
  • Scalability: Preparing the system for growth or regulatory changes to ensure it remains relevant as your organization evolves.

The best partners conduct in-depth discovery sessions to understand your operations fully, delivering a solution that works seamlessly within your unique environment.

Post-Implementation Support: A Key to Long-Term Success

The journey doesn’t end with implementation. Comprehensive post-implementation support is critical to maximizing the value of Dynamics 365. Look for a partner that provides:

  • Ongoing system maintenance and support.
  • Regular updates and optimization to leverage new Dynamics 365 features.
  • Staff training tailored to different roles, ensuring team members feel confident using the system.

Microsoft-certified partners bring technical excellence and a commitment to long-term quality, giving your organization peace of mind.

Collaboration and Change Management

The CFO’s Guide to Long-Term Care Facility Management https://reachinternational.ai/cfos-guide-to-long-term-care-facility-management/ Fri, 13 Dec 2024 08:55:08 +0000 https://reach-bhdka8gvgmc3argv.eastus2-01.azurewebsites.net/?p=4494 In the dynamic world of long-term care (LTC), financial leaders face an intricate balancing act: ensuring financial stability while supporting high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. For Chief Financial Officers (CFOs), the role is increasingly pivotal as the industry adapts to shifting patient demographics, evolving regulations, and the growing need for digital transformation.

Leaning on our real-life customer experience in dealing with financial challenges of our LTC customer, this guide explores how modern technology, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, can empower CFOs to navigate the complexities of LTC facility management and drive sustainable growth.

Key Challenges Facing CFOs in Long-Term Care Facilities

Regulatory Compliance

Maintaining compliance with ever-evolving healthcare regulations and tax requirements is a complex and evolving challenge. Non-compliance risks costly penalties and reputational damage, making it essential to adopt systems that simplify regulatory adherence through automation and real-time monitoring.

Operational Inefficiencies

Legacy systems provide familiarity, and customers tend to stick to them way after they’ve outgrown them, which often leads to significant drawbacks such as error-prone manual processes, data silos, and redundant workflows, which can drain resources and hinder productivity. Modern systems address these challenges by automating workflows, integrating disparate data sources, and optimizing operations to cut time and cost.

Complex Revenue Management

The ongoing shift towards subscription-based and usage-based billing models may offer predictable revenue streams and flexibility for customers, it also introduces complexities in invoicing, payment collection, and revenue recognition. Efficient management of these models requires advanced tools to ensure accurate tracking, seamless billing, and reliable forecasting.

Unpredictable Cash Flow

Even though subscription-based billing can certainly provide consistent and recurring revenue streams, challenges such as fluctuating patient volumes, delayed reimbursements, and inefficient billing processes can still disrupt cash flow, making financial planning a challenge.

Leveraging Technology to Overcome Challenges

Modern ERP systems such as Dynamics 365, paired with tax compliance tools and billing solutions, offer long-term care CFOs a powerful arsenal to address these challenges, with a direct impact on the core stakeholders of long-term care—patients, care providers, and insurers. By integrating automation, streamlining workflows, and unifying financial management, these solutions enable CFOs to achieve:

  • Streamlined Operations: Automation reduces manual tasks and eliminates inefficiencies, allowing care providers to dedicate more time to patient care.
  • Enhanced Scalability: Flexible systems adapt to organizational growth and evolving regulations, ensuring long-term sustainability.
  • Improved Financial Insights: Real-time data empowers decision-makers with actionable insights, enabling better resource allocation and cost control.
  • Simplified Compliance: Automated processes for tax and regulatory management mitigate risks, freeing resources for core care activities.
  • Optimized Billing and Revenue Management: Integrated tools ensure accurate invoicing, predictable cash flow, and transparent transactions for patients and insurers.

By leveraging these benefits, LTC facilities can enhance operational performance while maintaining a patient-centered approach to care delivery.

Successful implementation of these technologies, especially within a regulated industry such as LTC, hinges on selecting the right partner. A trusted partner, like Reach International, ensures a smooth transition and long-term success through:
